If "I run for beer" sounds like something you'd say, then buddy up with a neighborhood running club. Learn more.
Denver’s Cherry Creek Sneak was founded in 1982 and has become a Denver tradition for families and elite runners alike. Every year more than 10,000 runners participate in the 10-mile, 5-mile, 3.1-mile (5k) and 1.5-mile sprint courses. There’s even a ½-mile for Kids’ Fun Run for kids ages 8 and under, and Diaper Dash for little ones in the Kids' Fun Zone.
After the event, join in the fun at the post-race block party to shop samples from our vendors, enjoy a free Leinenkugel Summer Shandy at the Leinenkugel Beer Garden or play in the Kid’s Fun Zone.
Food Bank of the Rockies
When you run/walk the Cherry Creek Sneak, your participation benefits the Food Bank of the Rockies. Food Bank of the Rockies provides food and supplies to more than 1000 hunger-relief programs in Northern Colorado, Metro Denver, and the entire state of Wyoming. Since 1978, FBR has provided nearly 472 million pounds of food to our member agencies, which translates to 369 million meals for people in need. Last year, they distributed 41.3 million pounds of food, enough to provide 88,000 meals each day to children, seniors and families in need.
The Sneak is owned and managed by Downing Events, a Colorado-based company known for producing premiere athletic events, including the Tri for the Cure.
